I obtained my B.Sc. (Special) Degree in Statistics at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.
I completed my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Statistics at the Department of Statistics, University of Manitoba.
I joined the Lewis Research Group in April 2023 to study Lake Sturgeon using mark-recapture data collected by angling on the North and South Saskatchewan Rivers.
My current research focus is on applications of Bayesian statistical methods in fisheries ecology.

Personal interests: I love travelling, photography and video gaming
